Keepcard is a decision facilitation platform. We do not process payments, issue refunds, or manage returns. We create discount codes on your platform on your behalf, using credentials you provide.
The merchant's return policy governs all returns. Keepcard does not override or replace that policy. Customers retain their statutory right to return regardless of any keep offer accepted through this platform.
Discount codes are created in the merchant's Shopify or WooCommerce store with a usage limit of 1 and a 30-day expiry, set at creation. Keepcard is not responsible for codes redeemed after a customer subsequently returns an item. Enforcement of code terms is the responsibility of the merchant's platform.
Keepcard implements session-level fraud controls including per-order limits and address-based rate limiting. Merchants are notified of flagged sessions. Final decisions on disputed sessions rest with the merchant.
Keepcard processes order ID, email address, and return reason data to facilitate the return decision flow. No customer payment data is accessed or stored. Store credentials (API tokens) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.

We collect the minimum data required to operate the return flow: order ID, email address (to verify the order), return reason, and session metadata (IP address, user agent) for fraud detection. We do not collect payment information, full shipping addresses, or browsing history.
Data is used solely to verify order eligibility, determine offer logic, create discount codes on the merchant's platform, and detect fraud. We do not sell, share, or use data for advertising.
Return session records are retained for up to 12 months to support merchant analytics and dispute resolution. Merchant account data is retained for the duration of the subscription and deleted within 30 days of account closure on request.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting hello@keepcard.io. For customers processing a return, please contact the merchant whose store you scanned.
Have questions about Keepcard? We'd love to hear from you.
